theology of life
It is so easy to get distracted. So easy to get out of whack spiritually. So easy to get discouraged about the culture we are part of but can't seem to conquor. When this happens to Christians we end up bitter and antogonistic. There's a difference between diagnosing the gloom and being snippy about it. What we need is fellowship. More than a sense of community, rather, real communion in community. The answer to this is sitting down and listening. The answer is sitting down and eating with one another. We need to be part of one anothers lives in a way that is beyond the sense of belonging or community or anything like it. There must be participation in our life together. The Lord's Supper is this way. In this sacrament we get closer to what we need. We sit and listen to God's Word. We sit and eat at God's table and eat what He has to offer. We get close to one another and most importantly close to the Lord.
